Sometimes you just need an experienced student’s perspective on how to juggle classes, study effectively, manage time, choose the best enrichment opportunities or simply navigate the waters of a large university like Berkeley. Our Engineering Student Services peer advisers are a great resource. They can help you by answering questions like how to drop a class or choose an elective, and they can tell you all about life in their particular major or at Berkeley Engineering in general.
Peer advisers provide general information to engineering undergraduates about university and college requirements and procedures concerning registration, deadlines, research and leadership opportunities, student organizations, campus resources and special events. Peer advisers also meet with prospective students and lead workshops throughout each semester. Want to talk to a Peer Adviser in a specific major? Check out their schedule for Fall 2017 to see when they are in the office. You can also send an email with your questions.
We thank Lockheed Martin Space Systems for their generous support of the peer adviser program in Engineering Student Services.
