As part of campus efforts to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus, we instead invite you to Berkeley’s first virtual open house, Cal Week, April 18-24. All newly admitted undergraduate students and their families are invited to discover campus, learn about our resources, and meet members of the community in interactive ways online. Cal Week provides students an opportunity to ask questions, dive into the Berkeley adventure, and share their excitement with the community from anywhere!
The College of Engineering is excited to be taking part in this year’s Cal Week with over 50 live presentations, events, videos and resources for you to learn more about how Berkeley Engineering is the right choice for you.
College of Engineering info sessions
We are usually excited to offer in-person info sessions presented by our Engineering Student Services peer advisers throughout the month of April. Since we are not able to host you onsite this year, we instead have our peer advisers available to you for questions, overviews, and personal perspective in a couple other ways.
- ESS peer advisers are available via Zoom during their regular hours, Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 10am-5pm, as well as Tuesday/Thursday 7-9pm.
- Email our peer advisers.
- Sunday, April 19, 4:00 p.m. | Meet your ESS the Peer Advisers | Zoom link to come
Have questions about core classes, fun clubs, undergraduate research, or internship opportunities for individual majors within engineering? Engineering Student Services (ESS) peer advisers will host open Q&A sections for each major for you to ask all these questions and more. Visit the peer adviser breakout page to learn more about the participating peer advisers and check in to their specific Google Hangout.
Department visiting hours/contact
Again, with the changes due to COVID-19 our departments are not available to meet with you in-person. Each department will be hosting webinars, student panels and question and answer sessions during Cal Week. Check out their schedules and links for information on our Cal Week 2020 page.
