Master’s programs

  • Master of Engineering (MEng) program, combining a core leadership curriculum with coursework in your chosen engineering concentration. Offered by our Coleman Fung Institute for Engineering Leadership in coordination with our academic departments.
  • Master of Business Administration/Master of Engineering (MBA/MEng) program, designed to prepare students to become leaders in technological innovation, offers concurrent degrees from the Haas School of Business and the College of Engineering.
  • Master of Design (MDes) program, a joint initiative between our Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation and the College of Environmental Design, prepares students for creative and technical roles at the intersection of design, policy, and activism.
  • Master of Translational Medicine (MTM) program, offered by our Department of Bioengineering in collaboration with UC San Francisco.
  • Master of Development Engineering (MDE), a 15-month program merging technology and development for careers in social impact, social entrepreneurship and sustainability, offered through the Blum Center for Developing Economies.
  • Master of Molecular Science and Software Engineering (MSSE), an online professional degree offered by the College of Chemistry in collaboration with the College of Engineering.
