The Center for Access to Engineering Excellence (CAEE) team aims to do all we can to lower barriers to student success. To this end, the CAEE has established the Emergency Laptop Lending Program to assist currently enrolled College of Engineering undergraduate engineering students encountering sudden, unexpected financial hardships in accessing technology for their academic success.
Due to the high demand of students in need of technology, cases will be carefully evaluated and students with dire need and high urgency will be prioritized. We will prioritize requests from students who have exhausted all other resources including loans. Laptop loans are for the duration of the semester in which students apply. Filling out this application form does not guarantee a laptop.
Apply online. Students will receive a response within 2 weeks. The entire process might take longer than two weeks to checkout a computer.
