08/30/21 — The Center for Access to Engineering Excellence (CAEE) provides resources for students on multiple fronts: tutoring for engineering courses, professional development workshops, student organization support and much, much more. Today we are podcasting with Luis Castillo, ESS student development manager, and seniors Alexandro Garcia and Mohamed Mohamed, gives you more insight into how to use the resources and where to get all the information about the CAEE. 08/23/21 — Meet Ben Heronimus (senior) and Hitesh Kamisetty (sophomore) from the Engineering Student Council as they explore student life at Berkeley Engineering and how students can get involved in student organizations and competition teams. We also took the time to learn more about the importance of student organizations, how they serve students, how much time they take, and where to learn more.

08/16/21 — This week we are excited to have Christine Zhou and Denise Goitia as guests to talk about the mental health and wellness resources available to students, discuss the transition to Berkeley, as well as the transition back to in-person classes and where to find the resilience needed to be a successful student and Berkeley Engineer.

08/09/21 — Julian Ledesma, the executive director for Centers for Educational Equity and Excellence (CE3), joins us to give more insight into the 11 programs that are part of CE3. The programs cover three categories of support that are available to new and returning students: access and opportunity, independent student and transfer student.

08/02/21 — Claire-Marie Kooi, student engagement programs manager for Engineering Student Services, gives us an overview this week of the all the mentoring programs, the program goals and what is expected of students who participate.

07/26/21 — This week we wanted to build on the financial resources information that we learned about last week and are excited to tell you about Bears for Financial Success (BFFS). Peer adviser Diego Corona-Munoz joins us today to give a more in-depth explanation of the BFFS resources, where to get budgeting worksheets geared towards college students, and why working with a peer makes a difference when getting support in a judgement free environment.

07/19/21 — This week we are discussing all thing financial aid with Joseph Sell, counseling projects coordinator from the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office.

07/12/21 — This week new students are enrolling in their classes as first-year Berkeley Engineers. We asked some of our continuing students what tips and advice they have for you, before you register.

07/06/21 — This week we are continuing our exploration of the first-year experience with three transfer students: Paulo Borrero, Leena Elzeiny and Jon Watkins.

06/29/21 — This week we have three guests who started at Berkeley Engineering as freshmen, rising juniors Aylin Figueroa Uribe and Jasmine Bae and rising senior Bryan Wong.
