Berkeley Engineering ranked No. 3 grad program in the nation by U.S. News
Once again, UC Berkeley Engineering has been ranked third in the nation — and the top public engineering program — in U.S. News & World Report’s newly published graduate program rankings.
Nearly all of the college’s graduate programs were ranked in the top 5. The electrical engineering, computer engineering and environmental engineering programs all ranked first. Meanwhile, bioengineering moved from the sixth to fourth spot this year.
Engineering is one of the six academic disciplines “for which schools submit statistical surveys” to the magazine. The magazine based its rankings on responses from engineering schools across the country.
The full list of Berkeley Engineering rankings is online. U.S. News & World Report will release its undergraduate program rankings in September.
Berkeley News posted UC Berkeley’s rankings updates today. The College of Computing, Data Science, and Society also shared their rankings.
