Berkeley Engineering remains No. 3 in the top undergraduate engineering schools nationwide, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 undergraduate program rankings. The college also held the top spot among public engineering programs.
Half of the individual undergraduate programs retained their 2024 positions, while others moved up in the rankings this year: electrical engineering bumped up to No. 2; bioengineering now ranks No. 6; and the aerospace engineering major, now in its second year, moved up three spots to No. 15. Environmental engineering held onto the top spot.
