Commencement accommodations request

If you or your guest(s) require any disability-related accommodations to participate fully in commencement, please complete this form at least 7-10 days in advance of the event.

Please note that the information you submit will be used to offer accommodations to ticketed guests at commencement. Submissions to this form will not reserve a ticket for anyone in your party.

All guests (regardless of age) must have a ticket from Cal Performances to gain admittance to commencement.

We encourage all guests to learn more about the commencement venues online.

Greek Theatre:
All guests must enter the Greek Theatre from the north side of the building. There is a curbside drop-off area on Gayley Road just north of the Greek Theatre entrance for passengers with mobility challenges who prefer to minimize the travel distance to the Greek Theatre. Parking details can be found on the Parking & Transportation website.

The Greek Theatre is open to the elements; there is no shaded, indoor or temperature-controlled seating. We recommend guests bring individual size, factory-sealed bottled water and/or hats or umbrellas for shade (they cannot block the view of other guests). Cushions and low-backed stadium seats are permitted. Review a list of prohibited items on our website.

Zellerbach Auditorium:
Zellerbach Auditorium’s main entrance is accessible via a ramp located at the southeast portion of the building. Parking details can be found on the Parking & Transportation website.

  • Please submit one form for each person in your party that requires accommodations.
  • Select all that apply. Note: Cal Performances and the College of Engineering do not provide wheelchairs to the public.
  • E.g. can't climb stairs, impaired vision, requires assisted listening device, etc.
  • Please note: In order to accommodate all special seating requests, we can only seat one companion per disabled guest in the special seating area. Both the guest needed accommodations and the listed companion need to have tickets.
  • Note: By submitting this form, you have made a request for accommodations only. Regardless of this request, all guests and their companions are required to have a general admission ticket for entry into the commencement venue. Tickets may not be available for purchase the day of commencement.

By submitting this form, please be aware that you are not reserving specific seats. The purpose of this form is to inform the venue staff of how many people will need special seating or require accommodations in order to set aside adequate space to accommodate persons with disabilities and their companions. Seating locations are not reserved. Guests may be placed in any special seating location by venue staff where space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
