With knowledge comes responsibility. Engineers solve global problems with invention and design, but they must also understand the full social and environmental impact of their work. At Berkeley Engineering, our curriculum is based on the core belief that ethics are an essential component of engineering education. This annual lecture is supported by the Minner Endowment, a generous gift from Berkeley Engineering alumnus Warren Minner (B.S. ’51 CE) and his wife, Marjorie.
