I’m also really passionate about getting more women in the STEM field and advocating for mental health. Bio: Hi, I am Amy Cossyleon, a second year studying Environmental Engineering Science and hope to minor in Geotechnical Engineering. I grew up in Bakersfield, California which is part of the reason why I developed a strong passion for environmentalism, with it being one of the most polluted cities in California.

Bio: Migdalia Sanchez is a first generation Zapotec-Oaxacan, born within the U.S. diaspora, student majoring in Mechanical Engineering, minoring in Public Policy with interests in Ethnic Studies and Civil & Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley. She continues to nurture her attentiveness and knowledge by working in projects that allow her to combine her engineering skills, interests in health & environment, community work, civic engagement, intersectionality, and indigeneity, in order to find solutions to local and global problems. Spending time outdoors, watching movies, reading, dancing, and listening to music are a few of the many ways she rests.
