Scholarships

Engineering Student Services is proud to partner with our corporate partners to provide scholarships to our undergraduate students. Please be sure you meet the criteria of each scholarship before you apply. Aptiv Scholarships

Aptiv is a global technology company that develops safer, greener and more connected solutions enabling the future of mobility. They are proud to provide scholarships in the amount of $2,375 to students majoring in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering and computer sciences.  Seven scholarships will be awarded to UC Berkeley Undergraduate students. The application consists of two essays and a copy of your resume. Please be sure that you meet the following criteria below before submitting your application:

  • Majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences 
  • Seniors graduating in Fall 2018 or Spring 2019 are not eligible.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.3
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder and able to work in the United States

Boeing Scholarships

Boeing is awarding eight scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each to engineering sophomores and juniors. Scholarships will be awarded to students for the 2019-2020 Academic Year. The application consists of two essays and a copy of your resume. Please be sure that you meet the following criteria below before submitting your application: 

  • Full-time student 
  • Majoring in Civil & Environmental Engineering,  Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences, or Mechanical Engineering 
  • 2nd and third-year students
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder and able to work in the United States

BlackRock Hallac Scholars

The Hallac Scholars is a program sponsored by the global asset management firm BlackRock. These scholarships provide multi-year cost of attendance scholarships including tuition, mandatory student fees, housing and meal plan allowances, and personal expenses (e.g., laptop, books, and supplies) and consideration for an internship at BlackRock. Only first-year engineering students are eligible to apply. The application consists of two essays and a copy of your resume.

Chevron Scholarships

Chevron is awarding five scholarships in the amount of $4,000 will be awarded to UC Berkeley undergraduate students. Please be sure that you meet the criteria below before submitting your application. Scholarships will be awarded to students for the 2019-2020 Academic Year. The application consists of three essays and a copy of your resume. You must meet the following criteria:

  • Full-time student
  • Chemical Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder and able to work in the United States
