Dr. Pete Marsden earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry at UC Berkeley in 2011 as a joint student in the Ellman and Bergman laboratories. His graduate education was followed by an adjunct faculty position at the University of San Francisco where he taught organic chemistry lecture and labs. Starting in 2012, Dr. Marsden returned to UC Berkeley as a lecturer where he currently teaches first and second semester organic chemistry lectures and labs, graduate and undergraduate student pedagogy, and general chemistry labs. Dr. Marsden also leads the undergraduate teacher-scholars program at UC Berkeley, which enables undergraduate students to participate in the instruction of lower division chemistry courses.
