So far I have been enjoying getting to know my coworkers/team! I love the student-centered approach when it comes to advising, so I am looking forward to getting to know my students and watching them grow!

What advice do you have for students?
My advice for students would be to try as many new things as possible while you are in college. You never know which new interests or opportunities can come your way! College is such an amazing time in your life where you are learning so many new things about the world and yourself, so take advantage of what your campus has to offer! One day you will look back at this time in your life and miss it!

What is the most unusual job you’ve had?
I haven’t had many unusual jobs, but my first ever job was working at Daiso, a Japanese dollar store in Concord!

What are your favorite TV shows?
I love all things Star Wars related! I also enjoy the genres of historical romance and horror!

What is your favorite song, band or type of music?
My go-to forever favorite music genre is indie/alternative rock! I also enjoy reggaeton, shoegaze, punk, darkwave, house, EDM, and classical music! Most of the artists/bands that I enjoy are not that mainstream. I love going to concerts all over the Bay Area – I have seen The Marias, Kid Bloom, Doja Cat, NewDad, Glare, Deceits, Sports, Novulent, Obskuros, and most recently Haunt Me. I’m looking forward to seeing one of my absolute favorite bands this year: The Neighbourhood!
