1. What led you to pursue your current career sector?
I believe there is more I can do for the crystallization and chemical engineering communities, personally, as an educator and a mentor than in the private sector.

2. If you could give one piece of advice to graduate students exploring career options, what would it be?

Keep an open mind but don’t settle for anything you aren’t motivated to do. If you accept a job that compromises for you morally, personally, etc. it shows and will take a toll on you in the long run. So, take some real time to consider what will make you want to get out of bed every morning, not just on the good mornings.
