Answers from the Mentor:
1. What led you to pursue your current career sector?
I believe that nuclear technology can save the world! Whether it’s clean, safe, reliable electricity generation, or the peace-keeping power of the nuclear deterrent, I wanted to play my part as a nuclear engineer.
2. If you could give one piece of advice to graduate students exploring career options, what would it be?
Academia is not all or nothing. You can find jobs where writing papers, attending conferences, and mentoring students is still part of your role even in industry or government.
