1. What led you to pursue your current career sector?
   I always knew I wanted to develop devices that could improve lives and, as a grad student, had the opportunity to conduct research at a startup where my advisor was consulting. From there, I began to learn how all the groups in a startup work together to take a product from concept to commercial. I love being a part of a small team working at a fast pace to accomplish audacious goals!
2. If you could give one piece of advice to graduate students exploring career options, what would it be?
   Don’t be afraid to try different paths. It’s just as important to learn what you DON’T like as much as what you do like.
