Diego Morales
Major: Mechanical Engineering
Pronouns: he/him
My name is Diego Morales, and I’m a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering student at UC Berkeley. I’m the co-president of Pi Tau Sigma (PTS), the Mechanical Engineering Honors Society—it’s not a frat, contrary to popular belief! Outside of PTS and classes, I conduct additive manufacturing research under Professor Grace Gu in the Mechanical Engineering department. When I’m not working on school-related things, I enjoy 3D printing, playing soccer, skating, and hanging out with my dog, Oso. I chose to be a Peer Adviser because I want to show that Berkeley is a journey and everything takes time. I want to share the things I wish someone had told me, whether it’s about navigating classes or finding career-shaping opportunities. Please don’t hesitate to reach out about anything! I mean anything; from internships and research to solid-state physics, fracture mechanics, or even metallurgy. I am more than happy to share with you my story and journey here at Cal. Go Bears!
