Post graduate plan: I’m currently undecided on industry or academia. I’ll definitely try to land a career in industry, but I’m also interested in going for my master’s. As for field of interest, I’m leaning towards the AI/ML and SWE fields in terms of software, but I’ve also began to consider a hardware path, particularly Digital Circuit Design, Design Verification, and ASIC/SoC Design.

Hello, my name is Dave. I’m a current junior transfer, majoring in EECS. I’m still deciding whether to focus on the EE or CS track, but my background is more CS-leaning. I’m from Delano, California and attended community college at Bakersfield College, where I received my associate’s in CS, Math, and Physics. During that time, I worked as a STEM Peer Tutor and actively participated in our MESA program.
