Hi everyone! My name is Darya. I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran; wanted to study Bioengineering since I was thirteen, and here I am now! I love reading about the human brain, conscious/unconscious human behavior, also the way our food intake impacts our mood and decision making. Surprisingly and unlike my expectations, studying at UC Berkeley is much easier for me compared to when I was in community college because I learned how to stop overloading myself and enjoy my life and classes I’m taking. I decided to share my experiences with you so that we all can live a better life.

In my free time, I go hiking, explore the city, enjoy music events, and sometimes doubt myself 😉
