Hi everyone! My name is Chris and I’m a junior transfer studying electrical engineering and computer sciences at UC Berkeley! I did not know anything about my major until I started community college, and ever since then I’ve fallen in love with applying my problem solving skills to many challenging domains.
Prior to transferring to UC Berkeley, I was involved in undergraduate research through the Transfer-to-Excellence Summer Research Program. Additionally, I spent a year gaining work experience through internships in the field of software engineering before transferring. I’ve been a strong believer in supporting the diverse transfer community at UC Berkeley ever since I met awesome transfers and my closest friends through the Transfer Pre-Engineering Program. I also recently started EECS Transfers at Berkeley, a student organization dedicated to supporting all transfers interested in the field of electrical engineering and computer sciences at Berkeley. In my free time, I love going to concerts, working out at the gym, playing video games, exploring Berkeley and trying out new sports!
