Christine Zhou

Shuangmei/Christine received her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2008 and works as a senior staff psychologist at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at UC Berkeley. She established the Bechtel engineering satellite office of CAPS in summer 2012,  and since then, has tremendously enjoyed her work with Berkeley Engineering students, faculty and staff. In addition to her work with the College of Engineering, Christine also serves as director of operations for UC Berkeley’s Global Institute for Counseling and Student Mental Health, with the vision of creating a world where every college student has access to high quality mental health care.
