Shannon Hoang

Hey! I’m Shannon and I am honored to serve as one of your Transfer Ambassadors. My academic journey is influenced by my unwavering enthusiasm for sustainability and my connection with the natural world. This commitment led me to pursue Energy Engineering, a program that helped explore the multifaceted dimensions of energy systems and infrastructure, providing me with the agency to prioritize what I perceive as crucial for the well-being of our planet.  Beyond academics, I find solace in being outdoors, especially paddling and hiking/camping. Currently, I serve as a coach for the Cal Dragon Boating team and I recently explored the waterfalls in El Dorado National Forest!
