Brand guidelines

Brand guidelines help ensure consistent representation of the college and affiliates when using our logos, visual elements and templates. This page includes information about different usage scenarios. You may also view the full UC Berkeley Engineering brand guide. Additional information, including fonts, can be found on the campus brand guidelines site.

Colors

Primary / Informal logo

Use wherever possible, including website headers, promotional collateral and advertising, informal event flyers, invitations and social media.

Secondary / Formal logo

Use only in limited applications, including formal invitations, diplomas and official documents.

Colors

Use the two-color logo, in Berkeley Blue and Blue Medium, wherever possible.


Logo may appear in this secondary two-color style, in California Gold and White, but only if the background is in Berkeley Blue.

UC Berkeley college of engineering logo

On dark backgrounds, the logo may be all white.

On light backgrounds, the logo may be all Berkeley Blue.

On black-and-white or grayscale applications, the logo may be all black.
