New look for college news

After a year in development, Berkeley Engineering launched its reconceived website at the opening of the 2014–15 academic year. The URL is also new: engineering.berkeley.edu. The mobile-first site is designed to be user-friendly and compatible with a variety of mobile devices. The robust new platform enables the college to better tell its story with news, features, photography and videography.

The development of the new site was informed by surveys of college faculty, students, staff, alumni and friends. As a result, such useful tools as a searchable faculty and staff directory and easier access to sought-after academic and student life information were priorities for the redesign.

Along with the new site, Berkeley Engineering also launches a new monthly digest this fall. The first issue was sent to subscribers in September. If you would like to keep up with the latest developments at the college, subscribe and visit our online newsroom.

The online Berkeley Engineer magazine will launch with the publication of the fall magazine this November.
