Give the student address at commencement!

(Photo by Noah Berger)The College of Engineering Student Relations Committee is hosting auditions for the 2017 commencement student speaker. Auditions will be held on campus Thursday, April 13, from 5:30 -8:00 p.m. (Undergrads will audition from 5:30–6:30 p.m., grad students from 7–8 p.m.)

You will be required to submit ten printed copies of your speech in advance of the auditions. Your speech should be four to five minutes, have an original theme that is forward-looking, be optimistic, contain some nostalgia about your time at Cal, non-technical and aimed at family and friends. You do not need to memorize your speech to audition.

To sign up to audition, email bears@berkeley.edu by Monday, April 10.
