Inclusive Excellence orientation
Berkeley Engineering’s Inclusive Excellence Orientation for Tenure-Track Faculty is offered for tenure-track faculty, lecturers with security of employment and professors in residence to embody and promote our core values of inclusivity, community, belonging and excellence.
This program is informed by the experiences of our recent faculty hires as well as the expertise of our department managers, academic personnel analysts and senior faculty. Sessions will include programmatic material that equips our faculty with essential resources and tools to:
- Ensure a successful transition into the college and Berkeley’s campus
- Strengthen a pathway to tenure
- Build community
