Workshop 1: Job Descriptions
Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, 10 a.m.-noon, 410 HMMB. Lunch will be provided at 12 p.m.

In Workshop 1, participants will have the opportunity to analyze specific examples of how job descriptions can influence the faculty search outcomes and promote or interfere with our efforts to increase the diversity of our faculty.

Workshop 2: Rubrics
Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, 410 HMMB. Lunch will be provided at 12 p.m.

Workshop 2, we will present evidence on different ways that bias can manifest during the faculty search process and how rubrics can be an influential tool to reduce such biases and ambiguity in the evaluation phase.
