Gian Bruno | Associate Director for Freshman Programs
Gian joined Engineering Student Services in March 2014. He works as the major point person within the center, coordinating services and programs that help enhance student achievement and support a culture of equity and inclusion within the college. Previously, Gian worked at the University of Washington (UW) as the director of student services for the Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering. Gian also helped found UW’s chapter of oSTEM. Originally from Pittsburg, CA, Gian grew up in rural eastern Washington state. He earned a B.A. in communication, minor in music performance from Western Washington University and an M.A. in popular culture from Bowling Green State University. Gian’s graduate research focused on how media representation and portrayal of LGBT people influences identity development among gay youth.
Tiffany Reardon | Associate Director for Transfer Programs
Tiffany holds a dual appointment with Engineering Student Services and the Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences department. In both roles, she oversees programs that promote diversity and high academic achievement, including T-PREP, the Semi- Conductor Research Program and the SUPERB REU Program. She is also the staff adviser to Hispanic Engineers and Scientists (HES). Previously, Tiffany worked as assistant director of undergraduate programs in the Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement (MESA) statewide office at UC’s Office of the President. She has served as director of the MESA program at Skyline College and as a workshop presenter at national STEM education conferences. She was a panelist and contributor for the American Association of University Women’s 2013 report Women in Community Colleges: Access to Success. A first-generation college graduate, Tiffany earned a B.A. in sociology and an M.A. in education with a concentration in equity and social justice from San Francisco State University.
